京都市美術館・京都府立図書館・国立近代美術館・京都会館・みやこめっせなど、京都市の文化の中心でありつづける街、岡崎。その岡崎ならではの夜の魅力を創出するイベントが、「岡崎ときあかり～あかりとアートのプロムナード～」です。弊社はその一環として、京都府立図書館へのプロジェクションマッピングに参加しました。初めての大型建築物への投影ということで、3DCGを織り交ぜ奥行きを感じさせるストーリー作りを目指しました。
3日間あわせて3万5千人を越える方にご参加頂き、たいへんご好評頂けております。

Kyoto Art Festival 2012 
”Okazaki Toriakari Projection Mapping”
Having Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art, Kyoto Prefectural Library, The National Museum of Modern Art (Kyoto), and International Exhibition Hall all within its vicinity, Okazaki has continues to be the culture center of Kyoto. As part of the Kyoto Art Festival 2012, we were invited to turn Okazaki into an art gallery at night. Using 3D project, we were able to turn a whole building into a storytelling platform. Taking advantage of the structure and surface of the building itself, we had created a visual experience that is unique only to Okazaki.
More than 35,000 people join the three day event, and it also created buzz and acclaims in national media.
